Is Danny planning on driving the civic on Sat as well?
Nah I'm just picking it up since I'll be running it on Sunday at FedEx and I'll be doing a lot of work on it next week. He hasn't even ran an event in it yet, he just did a couple of test & tune runs in it at Dover National Tour lol. The first event he'll be running it at is the National Street Tire Challenge next Saturday and I'll be co-driving it as well.
It's big block for a Honda lol... K24 motor in a Civic hatch.

I believe Mike Kline drove it there and Danny either ran the Z06 or kart.
A friend of mine wants to ride along and see what auto-x is like, is there any fee for her if she's not going to be doing any driving?
there is no fee for ride alongs, loaner helmets are avaible
nice course today - fast and flowing, really got to open it up. Though the speed and long turns really showed my lack of camber even more than usual. My tires were not happy...but beat my target time of 50 seconds, so I'm happy.
one thing I'd kid of like to see on these big courses is a slalom someplace though. Not that I really like slaloms, but I like the technical challenge of doing them right.
anyhow, here's my vids. due to wind noise I just axed the sound and put a music overdub. I think the song is quite appropriate though. Did 4 different camera angles...
Great time here. First time driving someone else's car, first time on V710s and I think I did OK. When I left I'm pretty sure I was 2nd in X3 (behind the car owner) but who knows if that held up.
We put our mix-and-match R-comps on the '93 Miata (first time out for those too) and the wife seemed to like them, although she had trouble on the course and with cones jumping out in front of her most runs.
My best run:
We'll see you guys again in October.
2010 Autocrossers Inc. STS champion
2010 NCCBMWCCA X3 first loser
Sunburn aside, I had a blast today! Hats off to Ron for letting me drive his RX-8, I had no idea how much fun it would be. That car is just so easy to drive fast it's not even funny. If only the 2nd gear synchro wasn't so messed up I could have gotten into the 49s......
Edit- I agree with Josh, it would have been nice to have a slalom somewhere. Still a fun course though!
