    Recommended transmission work

My 2006 325 Cic has an automatic transmission and about 72,000 miles. I noticed an approximately 8 inch round area of what appears to be transmission fluid. It seems to be leaking slowly. The transmission seems to be shifting OK, I think but not sure. I have contacted several repair shops, including BMW dealers and am getting many different responses. I understand the my car's transmission is supposedly "sealed" and a lifetime transmission. Not sure what to do and looking for guidance including a recommended repair shop. I live in the Fairfax/West Springfield area. Thanks

Check with Curry's Craftsman Auto Care - there are several locations convenient to you: https://www.craftsmanautocare.com/about-us

Not close to you, but I used Leehigh Automotive off 606 west of Dulles several times for the BG transmission flush on the E46 & E39. They could take a look at what's causing your leak & renew the fluid. https://www.leehighauto.com/
