All - Summer tour to the Gettysburg Area is August 11.

The restaurant size is limited. I will not be taking reservations between July 14 and July 30 - away on vacation.

If you plan to join us, I strongly recommend you fill in the form and reserve NOW. We already have a dozen members signed up. Any reservation request made during that part of July will be placed in a queue....

...were conspiring to keep me from the tour, but all is not lost. Even though the clutch went out on my 1992 325i, and then the sunroof would'nt close on my 1988 ///M6 and the Aux fan died on my 1995 ///M3 causing it to overheat in traffic when the A/C was on... I will be there.

Bavarian Autoparts overnighted a new Aux fan and that fixed the ///M3 up for action. During the subsequent test run tonight (from Lexington Park to Point Lookout) the molding under the front bumper attempted to liberate itself from the car... After struggling to free the offending piece of large black plastic I stopped to get a bite to eat... upon my return to the M3 I was rewarded by a fresh Check Engine light, the likes of which I have never seen (on this car anyway). As I approached my home, angered and tired, the Gods smiled upon me and the Check Engine light disappeared. All is well... for now.

No they didn't have it in stock, but Eric their resident parts Czar is going to do his best to get me the part this week. He was extremely helpful and I will definetly be getting my parts from Northwest BMW from now on! Saturday was a blast!

Bob, I want to commend you on pulling this tour off. We had a great time and everything fell into place as planned. Northwest BMW was great and their hospitailty/service was outstanding. They reset my TPMS light when I wasn't looking after it came on somehow on my way up there. The drive was great, but next time I'm gonna hit some of those winding roads a little harder

Lunch was excellent BTW.

Now the most important question...where's the pics?

Thanks for the kind note. We are still recovering from Saturday - and then the trip to Allentown for the Sunday 5:30AM Balloon Ride. But that's another tale.

Most will be from other friends on the tour. For some reason, I did not have much time to take photos.

Doug has already sent me two that I will post in the Gallery.

Any idea how MANY did not follow the Instruction that said "LEFT on Glen Falls Road at Mt. Gilead Church - NOTE: Very easy to miss". And - did they see the Baltimore County Police car that was posted there and actually started after them to bring them back?

Anyone else have photos?
