Greetings! I am a proud new owner of a 2008 335i Convertible with the Sports Package 6MT! This is my first BMW and I love it to death! It felt awkward shifting at first since I have driven Japanese cars my whole life. I discovered that in order to shift fast and smooth, it's all about the seating position. After finding that sweet spot, it feels like the car is an extension of my body .Click image for larger version.

Thank you! I will most definitely be there for the next event. As far as mods, I am looking at the Koni FSD shocks with stock springs for a smoother ride. I currently have the Michelin Pilot Sport AS/3 which fares better than stock RFT from pothole explosions but still scares the crap out of me when driving over bumps or potholes.
