You need to define "lower mileage." Your price range would maybe get you one with 100K on it and/or one with serious flaws in its condition.
2006 GMC Sierra 2500HD 4WD Duramax LBZ/Allison 6-speed
2002 BMW M3 - Alpinweiss III/Black
1999 323i KP/GTS2 - Alpinweiss III (Black Hood, other stuff)
1990 325is - Brilliantrot/Tan
1989 325is - Alpinweiss II/Black (S50B32)
1989 M3 - Alpinweiss II/Black (S62B50 in progress)

yep, still searching.. might have a good candidate though, hopefully it passes a PPI.
update: found a 97 m3 coupe blk/blk with 98k miles passed the PPI with minor maintenance items. anyone know a place to get a MD inspection done?
got it for 9500, 98k miles. needs the alt/wterpump/pwr steering, a/c belts and the rear brake pads replaced.

I've suddenly found myself in the market for one as well. Looking for the same thing, avg miles, clean, mostly stock. Let me know if you hear of anyone selling.
Thanks,
Craig

You will absolutely love owning this car. I have had my 1995 M3 (It is identical to yours in color, interior and wheels) for years and I still feel like a kid on Christmas morning everytime I drive it. It is the perfect machine for going for a drive for the sake of driving! My M3 is still bone stock and closing in on double your mileage. Proper maintenance utilizing old school BMW maintenance intervals will do wonders for your cars longevity. Enjoy!
