I (and everyone else) want to buy a mechanically solid E30 for daily driving use. My preferences are as follows:

-MECHANICALLY SOUND!
-'89 or newer 325 or 318, 2- or 4-door
-5-speed
-bonus for clean bodies and interiors.

If anyone knows of one that isn't stratospherically priced, drop me a line.

I finally found one on craigslist. The 2.5 liter 5 speeds aren't overly plentiful. I got mine cheap but it needs some electrical work and a steering pump -- maybe more.

PS pump can be had cheap. You might source one at crazy rays yards. They always have an eta or two lying about.

1990 E30 325i. 237k mi. Driveshaft replaced last year. AC compressor replaced 2 years ago. Recaro seat rough. Have OEM seat in excellent shape. Fair shape. 5 spd, and rare LSD. Cloth interior. $600.00. Needs headlight replaced. Have headlight. May or may not pass inspection.
Sold as is. Eibach M3 comp springs, Bilstein Sport Shocks, Camber paltes, Eibach adjustable anti roll bars F&R, and front stress bar. And as extra bonus 4 free snow tires on rough bottle caps.

It's an auto but boy it looks super clean. Do the swap to a manual for 1200 thru www.theeurodepot.com and you'll have a super sharp car.
