FLIR has provided a very unique video from the O'Fest 2013 Michelin Driving Schools at Laguna Seca. This particular video was taken with the FLIR Quark thermal imager on the roof of an E46 M3. The image is made up of two major sections. The grey scale parts of the image are displaying the scene content that is below 50 degrees C, where white is the coldest and black is the hottest. The areas in the image above 50C are displayed as a series of colors similar in appearance to molten iron spanning temperatures from 50 to 200C where 50 is blue and 200 is bright yellow.
