    rasberry pi odb2 project

Hey guys, I have been reading about the rasberry pi micro computer and thought it would be a fun project to connect it to the diagnostics interface of my e46. My goal is to connect it to a small color screen that will show real time data. I have no idea if this will work but I thought I would share in case anyone wants to work on it with me or has done something similar. I am a programmer so I should be able to write any custom software the project might need.

That sounds pretty interesting. I have debated similar projects for the OBD1 interface on my e34.

I see your post is from a couple months ago, any progress?
