    Looking to buy BMW X5 3.0

    Looking at a couple of X5's 90+ miles. What major issues should I be looking for? Service, mileage, etc.

    I wouldn't buy one with NAV b/c its not very good at all. my transmission died at 100k and had to be replaced (although probably could have been re-built). pixels on the instrument cluster seem to die; common problem for e39s too. outside of the transmission, mine has been pretty solid, 140k miles and counting....

    Bushings get trashed pretty badly in the X5.
