Sorry but no.
Some chapters and organizations will allow convertibles with a fixed rollbar and arm restraints.
I wouldn't track my E30 convertible even if I could.
It would need some serious strengthening to the chassis.
I can literally feel the flex of the chassis on the street compared to my other cars.
I wouldn't have any fun at speed.
I understand you concerns; however for safety reasons we don't allow cabriolet's in our HPDE schools. Have you considered Autocross in your drop-top? Not as fast I grant you but I enjoy it as much as HPDE. Just my two and a half cents worth...
