04/06/2013 - NCC Autocross Points Event #1 @ Regency Furniture Stadium

    By etherpool at 2010-02-21

NCC Autocross would like to announce our first points event of the 2013 autocross season on April 6th, 2013. It will be held at:

    Regency Furniture Stadium
    11765 St Linus Drive
    Waldorf, MD 20602

We have lots of exciting changes for the 2013 season including a MINI only class and a new PAX classing system for non-BMW drivers.

Registration opens 8:00 AM on Monday, February 1st, 2013. You can register online, ahead of time, and get a $5 discount. Online registration is highly encouraged and save you from waiting in line! Or, if it’s a last minute decision, you can still walk-up. Walk-up registrations will be for PM session only & credit/debit card only! Registration closes 12:00 PM on Friday, April 5th, 2013.

    Season Subscriptions
We have decided to offer season subscriptions for those who want to keep the same vehicle number for the entire season. This will cover all seven points events. MPACT and Schools are excluded. Registration will run through Feb. 1st until March 29th. Subscription rates will be:

$180 For All Events (AM or PM Session Only)
$270 For A Two-Session Per Event Pass (AM & PM Sessions)

That’s a $30 savings over the full season. You will get to keep your vehicle number for the entire season and you don’t have to register for individual events! The registration procedure would be:

    • If you are interested in a season subscription please contact us at info@nccautocross.com.
    • Once we receive your request we will send you a direct link to registration for the first event.
    • You will only need to register for the first event (AM, PM, or All Day). You will also see an option for a season subscription. Chose both boxes.
    • At checkout you will pay for the first points event ($30 or $45 for all day) and the season subscription ($150 or $225 for all day).

Note that this is the only way to reserve a vehicle number for the entire season! If you have any questions please contact us at info@nccautocross.com.

BMWCCA is now requiring all NCC Autocross participants (for both events and schools) to be registered BMWCCA members.

We realize that not all of our past event attendees are members. To help offset the cost of membership new BMWCCA memberships are entitled to one free NCC Autocross points event!

BMWCCA membership is $48 which is a great deal. BMWCCA members enjoy a multitude of benefits such as discounts on hotel rates and towing services. Plus if you’re a BMW or MINI owner you get the extra benefit of dealer discounts at most MINI/BMW dealers and several local shops in the area.

See the links below for details:
    http://www.bmwcca.org/membershipbenefits
    http://forum.nccbmwcca.org/content.php?129

Signing up is easy! Simply go to Become a Member, Autocross for Free!! and follow the posted steps. Make sure you complete step 3 after you complete your membership so that we can note your free event.

    Members:
Online registration is $30.00. Walk-up registration is $35.00 for members (PM Session Only Credit/Debit Card Only!)

All Day Session (Online Registration Only!):
    Members: $45.00.

Please register using Motorsport Reg here: NCC Autocross April 6th Registration. Online registrations are done securely. Walk-ups are limited!!!

The NCC Autocross program uses a BMW-centric customized classing structure which pits your BMW or MINI against similar performance models in 3 levels of trim: Showroom, Tuner, and Modified. There is also a simple classing structure for non-BMW competitors. You can check out the full details at nccautocross.com.

Our program is beginner friendly, offering in-car instruction, guided course walks, and a dedicated group of organizers who are happy to answer any questions you might have or show you the ropes. Also, there are free loaner helmets available for use, so if you don't have your own helmet there is no need to go out and buy or rent one just to get a few fun runs in!

So whether you're a longtime BMWCCA veteran or never been to an autocross before, come check it all out online at our website: www.nccautocross.com

Please contact us at info@nccautocross.com with any questions you might have. We'll be happy to answer your questions. And check out our message board at http://forum.nccbmwcca.org/showthrea...7684#post47684 to discuss the event with other attendees!

See you on the 6th and thank you for autocrossing with us!!

I signed up for the all day session and I'm pretty excited. This will probably be the only event I get to do all year sadly. I've since sold my M Coupe and am now rocking a 1980 Firebird that is on stock suspension but makes a good amount of power ahahahaha. Should be dangerously interesting!

If this is the only event you can do I can issue you a credit for the renewal promotion back to your CC.

Hey guys! Looking forward to the event! If you're in stock class are you allowed to have track brake pads on your car? They are stock rotors and calipers, but different pads. Thanks guys!

This is probably a stupid question, but how do I find my number? I don't see it anywhere on the registration site and it's not on the list of attendees.

Great event; fun was had by all 120 participants, one or two foul balls from the stadium but no real damage to the event. Thanks Phil and the Autocross committee for an outstanding job as usual.

I didn't get a chance to say "thanks and bye" before I left after the AM session, but Phil, AJ, Manuel, and the rest of the staff did a great job with this event. It was a fun course, easy to follow. Everything ran smoothly, no timing issues, no need for re-runs. Loved it! My only complaint was the announcer not giving names along with the times in the first half of the morning session.
