I live in Montgomery county and just joined the forum. I have been driving German cars for 30 years. But they were VW's. First was a 76 Scirroco > 82 Scirroco > 86 GTI and finally a 90 Corrado G60 which is factory supercharged. So after owning the Corrado for 15 years, I thought it's time for something new. I bought a new 2007 Z4 3.0si coupe in the fall of 2007. The dealer almost gave it to me since they were just sitting on it when the next model year where coming in. What a different car. Love the rear wheel drive and the smooth power. I have been really enjoying it allot. Oh, I kept the Corrado and put historic tags on it. My wife has a 2001 525i that she bought new and it still looks and drives like new. I do all the work on my cars though I'd like to find a reputable mechanic in the area just in case something gets over my head with all this new complex technology. I just bought a OBD interface so I can do custom coding on some of the modules. Looking forward to meeting other local enthusiast.

Hello folks,

A new Mini Countryman All4 owner. I live in Alexandria, VA near the Fort Belvoir area. I joined the club to participate on the various activities and social events the club conducts. Such as the Auto X on the 17th of this month. Also, I may see myself purchasing a 3 series down the line. I hope you Bimmer guys will not mind a Mini owner in your mist...
