Hello everyone. My name is John and I'm a new BMW owner and club member. In January of 2011 I was surfing the web, minding my own business when I stumbled across the European Delivery program. The M3 has long been at the top of my fantasy car list but I was having a hard time justifying that much money for a car. The opportunity to pick it up in Munich and drive it around Europe for 2 weeks was something I couldn't pass up and the fact that the car was cheaper this way sealed the deal. On September 20th my wife and I took delivery of a new Alpine White E90 M3. We had the most incredible time and are now BMW drivers for life. I attached one of my favorite pics from the trip.
I joined the BMWCCA in April and was able to secure the perfect MD plate number for the car (09/20 was our delivery date). Special thanks to Bob for holding the number for me while I waited for re-delivery of the car.
I plan to attend many of the autocross events, Summit Point events, the ///M Club Day trip, and of course the social gatherings. I look forward to meeting all of you.
