    07/14/2012 - Autocross @ Regency Furniture Stadium

    By etherpool at 2010-02-21

NCC Autocross would like to announce our fourth points event of the year on July 14th, 2012. It will be held at:

    Regency Furniture Stadium
    11765 St Linus Drive
    Waldorf, MD 20602

Registration opens 8:00 AM on Saturday, June 16th, 2012. You can register online, ahead of time, and get a $5 discount. Online registration is highly encouraged and save you from waiting in line! Or, if it’s a last minute decision, you can still walk-up. Walk-up registrations will be for PM session only & credit/debit card only! Registration closes 12:00 PM on Friday, July 13th, 2012.

BMWCCA is now requiring all NCC Autocross participants (for both events and schools) to be registered BMWCCA members.

We realize that not all of our past event attendees are members. To help offset the cost of membership new BMWCCA memberships are entitled to one free NCC Autocross points event!

BMWCCA membership is $48 which is a great deal. BMWCCA members enjoy a multitude of benefits such as discounts on hotel rates and towing services. Plus if you’re a BMW or MINI owner you get the extra benefit of dealer discounts at most MINI/BMW dealers and several local shops in the area.

See the links below for details:
    BMWCCA Member Benefits.
    NCC Membership.

Signing up is easy! Simply go to Become a Member/Autocross for Free!!! and follow the posted steps. Make sure you complete step 3 after you complete your membership so that we can note your free event.

    Members:
Online registration is $30.00. Walk-up registration is $35.00 for members (PM Session Only-Credit/Debit Card Only!)

All Day Session (Online Registration Only!):
    Members: $45.00.

Please register using Motorsport Reg here. Online registrations are done securely. Walk-ups are limited!!!

The NCC Autocross program uses a BMW-centric customized classing structure which pits your BMW or MINI against similar performance models in 3 levels of trim: Showroom, Tuner, and Modified. There is also a simple classing structure for non-BMW competitors. You can check out the full details at nccautocross.com.

Our program is beginner friendly, offering in-car instruction, guided course walks, and a dedicated group of organizers who are happy to answer any questions you might have or show you the ropes. Also, there are free loaner helmets available for use, so if you don't have your own helmet there is no need to go out and buy or rent one just to get a few fun runs in!

So whether you're a longtime BMWCCA veteran or never been to an autocross before, come check it all out online at our website: www.nccautocross.com

Please contact us at info@nccautocross.com with any questions you might have. We'll be happy to answer your questions. And check out our message board message board at nccautocross.com to discuss the event with other attendees!

See you on the 14th and thank you for autocrossing with us!!

MotorsportReg shows that AM session is sold out, but all-day session is still available

edit: I saw only 49 AM registrants. I thought this meant that one AM person canceled, so I signed up for all-day registration, but the entry list only has me in the PM session. Doh. It seems like MotorsportReg is messing up? I wonder how much money it will charge to my credit card

edit 2: The entry list shows me in both AM and PM sessions now.

If someone signs up for AM & PM session and the event fills up, someone running non-comp in PM would still have priority over someone looking to run only the PM session?

I signed up in time, but I didn't realize non-comps took precedent over people paying full-price for PM. Anyways, it will be nice to get out to an event this year.

They don't actually take precedent it's more first come first serve. However, AM always fills up first which means that all day sessions fill up too. We have usually had at least 5 to 10 PM sessions available after AM and all day sells out. As of now only one PM session remains.

The non-comp people paid for the PM session too they just cant get season points because they ran in the morning so that would give them an advantage to count them. They arent freeloaders that are filling up the PM session for fun, which is how you make it out to be.

Hey all, if any members are leaving from the Baltimore City area to head down to Waldorf there is a small caravan leaving from right off I-95. We are gathering at the Royal Farms @ 6:45 and leaving at 7:00. So if you are interested, be at the Royal Farms on Key highway Around 6:45. The exit for the key highway is the first exit on 95 South after the Ft. McHenry Tunnel. Take the right hand tunnel after the toll. The exit is like 150 yards after the tunnel terminates. At the end of the exit ramp make a right at the light and then go about a quarter mile. There is a BP on the right and the Royal farms is on the left. (Call if you might be interested or need more info or just post on the forum...) (908) 720 7504

Hey everybody, I hope you enjoyed the event today despite the afternoon monsoon! I know I enjoyed it, thanks everybody for coming out, especially you all that stayed in the rain to help clean up so we could get home at a reasonable time. The results are up, I'm sure there are some errors with people being listed in incorrect cars as there was quite a lot of car switching. If you notice you are listed incorrectly, or have COMPLETE information on a car that needs to be corrected (Year, make, model, class) please submit a correction request and I will fix it as soon as I possibly can.

    Once again, thank you all!

It wasn't too bad standing out in the rain although next time I am bringing a spare pair of socks. Would like to give a big thanks to everyone for being kind and making my first time back autocrossing in about a year a very good day.
