Finally a BMW CCA Member Again!

Haven't been part of this group in a lot of years, kept meaning to join, but for some reason didn't. In any case, I"m a proud owner of a 2001 E39 540i6 Sport model, black on black. I'm spending a lot of time working on it and am interested in seeing what club members are up to with their bimmers. This is maybe my 5th or 6th BMW, or maybe my 7th if you count my 1994 K75s. Can't seem to get past the E39s and the E46s and the E38s. Once Chris Bangle got started, I just lost my enthusiasm for the newer models. So I suppose I am doomed to drive old cars forever.

I'm primarily interested in DIY sessions and gaining a network of knowledgeable enthusiasts. I did a lot of work at the DITY Mechanics garage in Sterling before it mysteriously closed, and really enjoy working on my car and my friends' cars.
