(2011) NASA Autocross This Past Sunday

Brian and I did a NASA autocross at VMP in Dinwiddie Sunday. I never got as fast as Brian's slowest run, but I still won with my normal 2-second handicap. He said he would beat me by 3-seconds. Fun, fast course designed by Mike "Junior" Johnson.
Mike Lane (350Z) won his class.

I ran the last Capitol club AX sat.at Harry Grove, haven't been on that tiny lot for 10 years?, it was great, 3 nice sweepers and 5 runs, still very technical and busy, only got 1 good run in(with t/c on!), I got beat by an E36 too, but it was an "M".

It wasn't one of my better events...two of my hoos were at the cords, and the other two sprung theirs after the second run. I know I could have gotten down the 47's, but I just sucked that day. I have a TERRIBLE time getting a clean run at VMP. I am usually not a cone intensive driver, but I probably average 2 per run down there. I hit 7 cones and had a DNF on the first three runs the event two weeks prior to this....wasn't much better for this event. Ran a mid 48 (with a flub early in the run) and was dirty..
