Just wanted to introduce myself and a little background. My name is Chris and I've loved BMW since I was a lot porter at Fairfax BMW, in my late teens. It's been a while since I took that first ride in a Used Red E30 M3 but, I remember saying that I'd own a BMW one day. I've had a 1994 325 that I bought second hand and later traded in on a 00 e39 M5, current BMW. I've had it for several years and plan on keeping it for a long time.

Anyhow, I just wanted to say hey and I'll be checking in now and then.

Hello pesto, I believe we may have met at one of the local meets. I'm more active on the 6speed site. My ID is sean996 over there. I have 130k on the M and am doing some maintenance, water pump and steering hose. I also will be doing the r bearings and refresh the VANOS at some point, maybe this winter.

I think you're right; I know a few people from 6speed

Sounds like a DIY would be a great place to get some of that maintenence done; the Russel DIY just opened last night.
