I want to switch out the current clock/ outside temp unit for an obc (shows mpg, etc). What is needed for this installation? Is the car pre-wired for this or do I need to run everything to have the unit work?

Normally the car is NOT prewired.
There might be a set of instructions floating around the 'net somewhere.
