You can rotate tires on a BMW without any problems. Because tires wear differently at different corners of the car, and because BMW allows road feel, your car may "feel" different after rotation. Rather than address complaints from dimwitted owners, BMW simply says not to rotate. The best answer is to rotate your tires frequently (at least every 5,000) miles, so that the corner specific wear doesn't become an issue. If you have a full-size spare (obviously not on recent bimmers), you can include that one in the rotation as well.
