    The Dakar Rally is underway

    It continues to be held in Argentina and Chile rather than Africa due to the threat of terrorism. Television coverage on Versus seemed to have been kept a secret until today. My on-screen guide on Verizon merely lists it as Off Road Desert Series. Anyway, half-hour highlight shows are daily at 3:30 pm and repeated at midnight. Today is an exception with repeats at 7:30 pm and 1:00 am.
