James, this is some of the coolest analysis I could possibly hope to see. You're right to call me out... over and over again! You're a true asset to the program with work like this. Well, my single greatest skill in autocross does seem to be cone collection. Just more proof that my smooth continues to need work.

I'll leave with this... my finest cone collection of the year wasn't at NCC but at Evo School, where I somehow managed to bury one between the rotor and backing plate. It takes an act of contortion and momentary lapse of physics to figure out how that could happen at 50 mph, but it did. It vaporized the cone and set a flash fire in my wheel well, melting various fender liners but thankfully sparing my electronics. That was a fun 2 hours of cleaning charred cone dust from everything afterward. Enjoy.
