The dash, interior and head lights flicker on a cold start. the idle also fluctuates slightly. then once the car is driven a little bit, everthing is normal. any ideas, alternator, battery?

Check battery cable connections are clean and tight, especially the grounds.
update, seems to have something to do with my secondary air pump (which sounds like it's on it's last legs). when the SAP is running, i don't get any idle or dash light fluctuations.
