Have a coworker who is looking for a new bike. He really likes Honda Goldwing.
I told him he is only 50 and way too young for a Goldwing. Anway he checked
out BMW motorcycle website and is interested in taking a look. He is located down in the Fredericksburg area. Anyone know if the dealer down that way allows testrides? Do any motorcycle dealers in the area allow testrides?
AutoAdvantage in Manassas, VA sells certified pre-owned BMW cars and motorcyles. They allow test rides as long as you have a valid motorcycle license.

It's going in the wrong direction from Fredericksburg, but Bob's BMW in Columbia, MD is one of the best Beemer dealers in the country. They allow test rides and have a wide range of new models available to ride. I live in Arlington and go to Bob's exclusively for parts and service--it's well worth the drive.
True, Bob's BMW is one of the best in the country, but Morton's BMW in Fredricksburg is right in his backyard. I bought my bike from Bob's and most of my gear from Morton's. I highly recommend either place. Both these dealers encourage test rides, provided you have a MC endorsement. I live in Alexandria and Bob's is just a bit closer for me.
Battely Cycles, aka Rockville Harley-Davidson also sells BMW, but not exclusively (obviously). I've had mixed experiences there. Nothing too bad, but they are a distant 3rd place in my book.
