BMW Included Maintenance Questions

My 07' 335i saloon has ~37k miles on it and I just got the oil changed on it in January. My question is regarding the included 4 year 50k service that comes with the car. Mine is due to expire 10/2010 so I have roughly 8 more months of included service. I don't drive the car alot so getting to 45k before October seems unlikely. When is the next big service for this car due and how can I get that included in the my service package before it expires. As far as I know the big Inspection 2 service is at 45k unless I am wrong. Anyone have any insight. Trying to get the most from this included service while I still have it.

I thought Inspection 2 was done at 60K, but they might have changed. If the oil change service interval is now ~15K you might fit another "free" one in. You should have a list of all suspect or problem areas and have them addressed before your time is up. Don't wait until the last minute.

I had the same issue with a pre-owned I acquired. I had a lot of mileage left on the car, but was running out of time. I ended up getting an oil change at 45k, but only because there was at least 14k of mileage after the last one and I could say that I would drive another 1k or so. I also made sure that my brake pads were VERY worn in so they would be replaced under warranty. They will not comp you for the 60k Inspection II service after the warranty ends. Make sure you bring your car in a month or two before the warranty ends to deal with any outstanding issues.

Another option is buy the extended maintenance. It used to run $2500 and extends the service to 6 yrs/100k.
