07/17/2010 - Autocross Points Event #5

I am not sure if this is the right thread, but I will ask my question anyway.

I had several issues with autocross registration:

1. It does not allow me to change info about my car in my autocross subscription (I fill out the form, click continue, it says it is successful, but then when I come back to the page, it is only partially updated. The most important pieces of info - the new class is not updated)
2. I cannot delete my old car from my garage
3. I cannot register the second driver for the same event for the same car

A can live with 2 & 3, but the first question is critical. I wrote them an email through their help system a couple of days ago, but I have not heard anything back yet.
Any suggestions?

You need to update your event registration not your season subscription registration. The season subscription registration batches over before registration opens so because it's already moved over, you need to modify the specific event.

Go to DLBRacing - Click "My Races"
Under "Points Event 5" you'll see "Edit".
Click Edit, correct information, and click continue.
A confirmation page will show - confirm everything is correct and click continue.
It should now be updated.

Actually I already did that and it worked for this upcoming event. Does that mean that I need to change it every time before each event? Is there any way to remove the old car completely?

The Corolla is really getting a kick out of screwing me over recently. It was making odd clanking sounds on the way home from Fed Ex today, haven't had a chance to put it on ramps yet and inspect things, but hopefully I'll get back from my business trip early and have a shot to check things out on Friday.

The grey Speed3 belonged to my roommate. If he doesn't have a lame excuse that day, I'll drag him along.

This will be my first time with this group. Using the links provided I can't find this place. I can get close, but google maps has that area being under construction. It looks like it is off of Billings road. So I'm guessing that if I take RT south to White Plains, and a left on Billings I will find it?

Also, get there early. I always arrive on site early (not just because I have to switch to rcomps). I give myself plenty of time for setup, wake up and talking with folks. I also want to make sure that everything is taken care of by the time that the course opens to walk, so that I can get as many course walks in as possible.

Just an fyi mcoupemindy, there is a typo for the address to the place. The 7 and 6 got swapped.

Thinking about making a return for an event. How has the turn-out been? If I choose to walk up for the afternoon session will I have trouble? I just don't want to have to race in the rain anymore, last year was as much as I can handle this decade (6/8 events rain?). Also, I need to borrow someone's pump at the event since mine got absolutely destroyed by flood conditions. I look forward to making my limp home mode come on sporadically for the next couple months.
