The 2009 German Touring Car Championship (DTM) returns with Round 1 from Hockenheim at noon on Saturday. These purpose built race cars are almost as sophisicated as a Formula 1 car and only carry body work that is supposed to resemble their production counterparts. Several ex-F1 drivers compete.
The 2009 British Touring Car Championship will be on Speed TV starting with Round 1 from Brands Hatch at 1pm this Saturday. These highly modified cars are limited to 2-liter engines. Several privateer BMW teams are running in the series.
It looks like each Saturday will have a new round for both series.
The USA's VW Jetta TDI Cup series will have some of its races on Speed TV starting Sunday at 5pm with 1/2 hour presentations:

6:00p Round 5 from Autobahn Country Club
6:30p Round 6 from Road America
