Greetings and Salutations, I have it on good confidence that we are planning our next Bimmer social invasion of Maryland's southern most point on 30 July 09. ///Marine is currently planning a NCC sponsored social event for the club rit large. prob 2 hours and once you off 495, its a good drive

During the last event (at Cheeseburger in Paradise) most travellers came down Route 5 South. The quicker way down from the beltway for this event would be Route 4 South. There is a lot less traffic at that time of day than there is on Route 5. The only caveat is that Calvert county has more State Troopers than the New Jersey Turnpike, so be aware... I routinely make it to or from Solomons to Fairfax, Virginia in well under an hour and a half regardless of the time of day or week. *Your results may vary.

That being said; give yourself enough travel time to get here early and enjoy the scenery. This truly is a beautiful area.
