Agreed, but at the same time, for a n00bie, getting into a helmet for under $100 while they (and I) make sure that this is a hobby for them (as opposed to a whim) is a lot cheaper than ~$300 for an SA rated full-face. If I get 2 seasons in with this helmet, then I will spring for an SA full-face, and will have only "wasted" about $60. Not bad, IMO.
Happy day after the 4th of July!
I've attached a current registration list to this post. As you see, we're really down on participants, so tell your friends to register!
clearly george bauer is tired of losing so he's not signed up in the M-donkey.
I won't be able to attend this one either, I will be at a wedding for my wife's cousin, at 11am, in Delaware...followed by a DRY reception. Soo...um...yeah.
Biggins would have beat me anyway. He owns the summit point slick track!
glenn is coming! oh dear
May I suggest that "down on participants" offers us a gift. Extra runs. Bump up the start time for the fun runs. Let's hurry though our "official 4" runs and then let the action begin. Drivers' meeting for the PM session will include getting commitments to stay on and help with the extra runs. INSIST that folks stay on to help with flagging and taking down the set, but the bottom line is: more runs for those of us that show up!!!
^^ definitely....5-6 runs for the PM session
Perhaps instead of calling them fun runs, we can call them "Autox Bailout Runs" and charge $1 a run, $5 a cone.
Car54 ...well, now Car52
