Good idea...then you can review where you're looking. I leaned on the track until Woody made fun of me. It took a couple more events to break the habit.

I threw this together to play around with the new MacBook. It doesn't look nearly as smooth from in the car. When I watch it I'm just thinking "HIT THE GAS!", but the first run was so slick it had me spooked. Still it was good for third in T2. Also, I know I lean my head into turns a lot. I wasn't really aware of that until now

Haha! I wonder if I lean, now...I'm going to try to be conscious of that bad habit at the next event.

Now on to the video...what a difference POV makes. I see what you're saying when you don't feel as smooth and as Craig points out, you can see your eyes focusing on the more immediate gates.

Thanks a bunch for putting that video online, it was good to watch.

I had an instructor say tilt your head (while we were parked)...and say doesn't everything look confusing now? It did...made sense.

Ron...you're a good sport for taking criticism publicly. It's terrific that you're recognizing these things on your own.
