Car Control Clinic question

The website says registration and payment must be mailed before June 6, but the e-mail says registration period May 4-18. Am I too late to sign up?

Although it is outside of the "official" registaration period I beleive you can still sign up. You can contact the registrar to find out the official answer: http://www.nccbmwcca.org/index.php?o...=29&Itemid=130

Regardless of whether I can still sign up I will have to pass since one of my Shelties needs to see a specialist for her skin condition. This will surely cost me big bucks, but I can't have her walking around with sores on her back.

I used the form to ask Doug (registrar) and got this response:

Register and send in your check. We're still open. I'll be sending Pete the applicants list in a couple of days.

I'm awaiting final confirmation from the better half that I can go this date as well. We have a personal conflict on that date I am trying to resolve.

Just registered, hope the organizers don't get too mad at me for jumping in last minute! Will send off my check and photo of ID and insurance tomorrow.

Another question - will my teen-aged son require a helmet for this clinic? I haven't heard back from Doug on this. The event is in less than 2 weeks, and I'll have to chase down a helmet for him to use if they're needed. I can't recall if OG rents them, or if the program has loaners.

OG definitely rents them....not sure if they're required. My guess would be yes.
