Please come out and join us heading out to Maryland International Raceway to see who's car can hook and cook.

Who: You
What: Drag Racing
Where: Maryland International Raceway
When: May 31, 2009 (We will be waiting for the gates to open @ 10am)
Why: Bragging rights, etc. (They also have a race scale so that you can get a weight on your car.)

It's just a MIR T&T - typically $35 in the gates.

That is in my backyard! I wonder what the M6 weighs? Perhaps I can remove the spare tire and get it down to 7,000 lbs!

I was just kidding ldsbeaker. The M6 weighs only about 3,318 lbs. Still heavier than an E28, which is why an E28 M5 was faster in reality while an E24 M6 was faster on paper. BMW charged much more then for an M6 than for an M5 (and they still do).
