    Dragstrip Day (May 31, 2009) @ MIR

    Please come out and join us heading out to Maryland International Raceway to see who's car can hook and cook.

    Who: You
    What: Drag Racing
    Where: Maryland International Raceway
    When: May 31, 2009 (We will be waiting for the gates to open @ 10am)
    Why: Bragging rights, etc. (They also have a race scale so that you can get a weight on your car.)

    Jonathan, I have a road bike race that morning in Crystal City. How long are you guys planning on being at MIR? I could probably head up there after my race.

    i'll be outta town on a golf trip, but you guys have fun. how much is this event? who gets the payment?

    It's just a MIR T&T - typically $35 in the gates.

    $35!! Gosh, I thought it was $20. I have an appointment that morning, but I should be able to make it after noon if my car is fixed by then...

    That is in my backyard! I wonder what the M6 weighs? Perhaps I can remove the spare tire and get it down to 7,000 lbs!
