Voted best beginner track car by several instructors and magazines. Engine runs very nice with a good solid transmission. The car handles great with the well proven Bilstein/H&R setup. The brakes are wonderful. The car has no prior body work and is very well maintained. Less than 1,000 miles after conversion to track car. Garaged and towed on trailer to every event. Light and nimble car that has the potential outperform newer, more powerful siblings, even though the horsepower figures seem to indicate otherwise. The car also has great potential for further improvements such as removal of sunroof, lightened flywheel from Metric Mechanic, removal of AC, carbon fiber hood, sway bar upgrade, larger wheels and tires, wheel spacers etc etc. Will need a catalytic converter to be registered as a street car. Car is being sold due to owner moving to the E36 chassis and NASA Spec3 racing. Owner is a BMW enthusiast and BMWCCA member.
