Where can I buy a DISA valve? I found one on bavauto.com for $200 but I can't find any other place that sells it. I remember there was a site that gave discount for bmw members does anyone remember what it was called?
Or should I get it from the dealer?

Grab the part number off the realoem site and enter it into getbmwparts.com. You'll get a hit. If you're just browsing the catalog, you may not find it.
I think I'll end up using my usual source - bavauto.com
BTW, just called BMW Towson - they quoted $325 for the DISA. Those guys are ridiculously expensive. I ended up paying $500 for inspection II to be told I need belts and all the other recommended maintenance. When I changed the belts 6 months later they were in perfect condition.
