    Try tapping on the side like hoyabmw said. That worked for me on one side. The other took a fork and many blows to get it to pop. If you use a fork don't worry if you tear the boot. I have to find them but I have two urethane covers you could have. The ones on my car have held up so far.

    there is a MB replacement kit but i cant find the the part number right now.
