BMW Salvage yards in Virginia

Any recommendations on junkyards that are specialists in BMW's in Virginia? I have already done a search on this site.

Property values have pushed yards out of NoVA. You'll need to get down to Fredericksburg or King George County, and I don't know how many BMWs you'll find there.
Brandywine in MD was the place 25 years ago - last time I was there.
Potomac German Auto has a yard in Frederick area.
Crazy Ray's also has a number of yards in MD.

If you want parts, I like searching through car-part.com

I can usually get some local (springfield-ish) results.

Way too far for me. I need a yard in VA. It doesn't have to be in NOVA. There have got to be some good yard somewhere in VA that specialize in BMW's.

Come on Chicane; Brandywine, Maryland is not that far from Richmond, Virginia. You drive a BMW! Take a morning drive in your Bavarian machine and come back with car parts. It sounds like a great way to spend a day off!

Yeah, maybe if I need to pull an engine it would be worth it. But if I need to pull a few interior pieces....totally not worth the gas.

Those are becoming harder to find, due to liability and lawyers.

Check http://car-part.com/ - search for a part you're interested in, find a vendor located near you, and call them to learn more about their operation.

OK, once again this site is junk they have nothing. Not even basic parts on this and other bone yard websites.

I have been hitting Crazy Ray's at 2801 Hawkins Point Rd in Baltimore. Exit 1 on I 695. I have found a # bimmers on the lot. I will ck again Erdman Ave Baltimore and 1/2 mi from junction of Rt 1 & 175 in Jessup. It is a Buck to get in.

+1 on Crazy Rays; thanks for giving me that tip a few months ago. didnt even know it was less than 5 miles from my house
