Here's what I know:
Unfortunately rain foiled plans for the Shenandoah Winery Fall Festival show. The vineyard owner reported that this was the first time it rained in 29 years of festivals, thus no rain date has been considered. John has the awards and door prizes, and hates to waste them, so come on down!
- Saturday, Oct 11, Mount Jackson VA.
- In a big field (Lasting Impressions Landscaping) on the east side of Main Street (Rt 11 south) across from Rinker-Frye Memorials.
- Held in conjunction with the Mount Jackson Apple Harvest Festival.
- $30.00 fee for car. Arrive 10AM; rags down at 11:30 for judging to begin.
There will be roast pig; John will provide soda & water, as well as door
prizes.
There will be a bus/busses to take visitors into downtown Mount Jackson for their festivities.
Local Porsche & Mercedes-Benz owners have also been invited, but only BMWs will be eligible for awards.
Directions: I-81 south to Exit 273, Mt. Jackson. East to Rt. 11, South on
Rt. 11 (Main Street) to downtown Mt. Jackson.

The concours will be held in a big field at his buddy's landscaping business, Lasting Impressions Landscaping, on the left as you head south on Rt 11, across from Rinker & Frye Memorials, Inc. Lasting Impressions is at 5450 Main Street. The field is to the right/east of "A" as you look at THIS MAP.
The 'Mount Jackson Apple Harvest Festival' is Oct. 11th & 12th. Arts and
crafts, food, music and activities for all ages will be available. Admission
is free and there is ample parking throughout town. For more festival information call the Chamber of Commerce at 540-477-3275.
The festival boasts streets lined with arts and crafts vendors, a selection
of food to satisfy everyone's taste, and exciting events such as hot air
balloon rides, square dancing, wine tasting, and helicopter tours. As you
stroll down Main Street you will also be accompanied by the music of the
many bands and performers set up for your listening enjoyment.
