Sept Board Meeting and Social - Ramparts

Due to travel committments of the elected officers, we are moving the September board meeting to Wed, Sept. 24. (at the August board meeting we moved it forward one week; now it is being moved 2 weeks forward).

We're back to holding our next joint board meeting/social at Rampart's:

This is another great opportunity to meet other NCC members and see what goes on in the club. For those interested in getting more involved, this would be a great place to start.

Social will start at 7p and board meeting will start promptly at 8p. We've had a great time the past few months and hope to see you there.

It has been suggested that to avoid any confusion, alcoholic beverages are paid for individually (not by NCC) and that there will be a nominal $8 contribution towards the cost of the dinner.

Could you please be a little more specific? Steak could be anything from beef filet mignon to weiner schnitzel of water buffalo. Fish could be anything from broiled Northern Pacific Mahi-Mahi to deep fried Rock Creek sewer trout.

The board members are too busy taking care of our chapter to venture up to Watkins Glen for this fun gathering. I understand there'll be over 750 attendees.

I too have complained about the non-descriptive choice of "fish". I think it was for one of our big holiday parties.
