Help: Vintage bimmers needed!

Back at the March Board of Director's meeting I asked for five Vintage BMW's to support a Hospital Day event on 21 June 08 at the Boy's & Girl's Club in Lanham, MD. Somehow the ball was dropped and I'm told we currently have zero Vintage bimmers in support of this community event sponsored by Doctor's Hospital of Lanham, MD. I thought this was an excellent opportunity for our club to showcase a few members as well as show-off their cars to some of the Maryland youth who might not be able to see historic vehicles. I'm not willing to give up in the ninth hour, therefore I'm asking for one to five club members to please take a long look at your schedule this weekend and see if you can in any way support this event on Saturday, I understand we've all got busy lives, but if there is any time you can devote please contact me. The event doesn't start until 12PM on Saturday afternoon and you could show up at your leisure and leave whenever you like. Just an option.

I'd like to publicly acknowledge and thank Mr. Roger Byrd who brought his 850ci out to Doctor's Hospital Family day at the Lanham Boys & Girls club. I appreciate him coming out especially on short notice. We really didn't get a chance to show because we just had two cars, my 1999 and his 1993. Any-who, just wanted to give a shout out to Roger for his willingness to come out and support the a good cause. Just my two and a half cents worth. Happy Motoring...
