Question Has anyone flat towed (towbar) an e30?

I was curious if anyone has flat towed (using a towbar) an e30, and if so what were the mounting points you used and what other precautions did you take? Thanks.

You have to disconnect the driveshaft - the transmission will burn up if the input shaft isn't turning. (BMW allows for *some* towing time with the engine off and the drive wheels on the ground, but it's limited.)

You have to disconnect the driveshaft if you use a tow dolly too.
