    A/C leak... any rec's

    I have (so I've been told) a leak in the lines between the compressor and evaporator in my A/C. I've also been told that this is ~$1200 repair, which I promptly declined.

    Any advice on where to take my car (E46 323i) would be greatly appreciated. Or, if it's not too difficult, can I do this job myself?
