Great candidate car for Spec E30 and a great Autocross/Track Day/HPDE car but is very streetable. MD inspected and emissions compliance up to date. Purchased by me in March 2001 with 151,230 miles and then it was off the road until May 2002. During that time, every wear item was replaced along with many Spec E30-legal upgrades to include: • Stainless steel braided brake lines• K-Mac adjustable camber plates• BMP adjustable rear bushings• Korman offset lower control arm bushings• Bilstein Sport strut inserts and rear shocks• H&R Sport springs• Bavarian Autosport drilled and slotted front rotors• Supersprint SS cat back exhaust• Korman engine mounts• Ireland Engineering urethane transmission mounts• UUC Street EVO height adjustable short shifter with delrin bushings and cartridge bearing upgrade• BMP aluminum stress bar• dash top pod with Oil Pressure, Oil Temp and Voltmeter Gauges• Bimmerworld studs.• Four 15x7 TSW Hockenheim R wheels with Kumho Ecsta MX 205/50-15 tires. (Will throw in the set of four 14x6 BBS basketweaves - also Spec E30 legal - seen in the photos. The car currently has a BMP Hot Chip matched to the Supersprint exhaust. I will also provide the original chip. At purchase:• the cylinder head decks were milled and the head received a three-angle valve job, valve adjustment and valve guide replacement• head bolts replaced• fuel injectors were serviced The following were replaced at purchase:• sub frame bushings• timing belt• water pump• distributor cap• ignition rotor• spark plug wires• fuel filter• all hoses and belts• flex disc (guibo) At 152,807 miles, the output shaft seal and shift seal and oxygen sensor were all replaced. At 154,166 miles, the power steering hoses and heater valve were replaced. At 160,500 miles, the alternator and ignition switch were replaced. At 168,350 miles, the rear shock mounts were replaced. Current mileage is 168,700. Since purchase, car has been maintained by Martin’s Auto Service (BMW master mechanic and BMW Club Racer) in Gaithersburg, MD www.danmartinsautoservice.com and has only seen synthetic oil, mostly Red Line 10W-40. Transmission filled with Red Line MTL and differential with Red Line 70W-90. Brake fluid has always been ATE Purple or Gold. Front brake pads are Pagid Sports and the rear pads are Axxis Metal Masters.No A/C.
