I'm on the wait list, I'm new to the club and this is my first event.

If I don't move off the wait list to the main list, I assume there is no reason to show up on Saturday. Am I right?

Since this is the only time this year for this event, can anyone suggest anything appropriate for a newbie that is not too far away?

You are correct. If you don't move off the waitlist there's really no reason to show up Saturday.

You're more than welcome to come out to one of our regular event too. They are very novice friendly and I (or someone else) can help you get acquainted. We can also get someone who has experience to ride along with you and give you a bit of instruction.

Our first event is on May 31st.

I have tried talking to Bob Hausman, hopefully he will help instruct.

Just wanted to post a big thank you from me and the wife - we had a great time yesterday! Thanks to Jonathan for putting on a great event and the rest of the instructors/volunteers that made it all pretty seamless, entertaining, and informative.

No off to shop for a helmet and start posting some of the upcoming events to my calendar!

Now that was a great way to spend a Saturday! After my first run I could tell I was hooked on this autox stuff . I'd like to thank Jonathan and all of the instructors for putting on an excellent event. I too will be looking to buy a helmet.....can't wait to get back out there and dodge some cones!
