The 35 mpg CAFE standard looming in the United States has BMW thinking about the creation of a fourth brand with a fuel-efficient, low-pollution image that would help lift the fuel economy average of the rest of BMW Group. That’s according to Stefan Krause, BMW’s board of management member in charge of sales and marketing.
