DETROIT – BMW’s world premiere of the X6 Sports Activity Coupe showcased not just the daring new design but a new twin-turbo V8 engine and a “world innovation,” Dynamic Performance Control, that sounds a lot like the torque vectoring pioneered by Acura. This was the world debut for the X6, the September 2007 Frankfurt debut being of the X6 styling concept even if it was the essentially final vehicle.
