Need tow for autocross trailer.

Is there anyone coming to the autocross school, that can tow the trailer?

Trailer is currently in the Dulles area.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

No one has a vehicle with a hitch?

We could rent a truck? I'm sure the club could cover the cost of that. I'd volunteer, but it makes no sense for me to drive to Dulles, to Sykesville, back to Dulles, and back to my home which is 7 mins from Sykesville.

Truck rentals cost more than most people think ...

I've just called a couple of rental places and they aren't cheap. Especially since we will need it on Friday as we will need to leave FunKtion no later than 5:30 am. (and no rental place is early that early).

I got a quote from Sterling, VA to Sykesville and back for 19.95 a day, and $.59 a mile. Round trip is about 130 miles. Pickup at 5:00 Friday and return 5:00 Saturday.

So it would cost about $100 to rent, plus gas ($~25). Not too bad, right?

There's no way of returning before they close on Saturday. Most UHaul places close at 6:00 and unfortunately there's NO way that we would be ready to return it by then. Even if everything went perfect and we left at 4:30, the earliest that we could have it back is 6:30.

And I think that price is not that great. We either can find volunteers or charge more for admission at events.

If noone steps to the plate, I'm buying a trailer hitch for my M3. I've already found a company that has them in stock and it's relatively inexpensive.
