Andy Priaulx of the UK secured his third consecutive World Touring Car Challenge title with a win at Macau

Andy Priaulx finished the first of the two World Touring Car Championship rounds in Macau in eighth place. It was the ideal position for a non-winner, as with WTCC’s inverted top eight qualifying rule, it placed him on the pole for round two. He led from flag to flag in his 320Si, winning the driver’s championship and securing the manufacturers’ championship for BMW.
