E46 M3 Gear Oil

Does anyone know the secret handshake to get 2L of gear lube for an E46 M3 (non-SMG)? I went to BMW of Sterling and the parts man said they won't pump it out of their drum, they don't want the liability of pumping it into an empty jug, etc. Mike Miller in Tech Talk seems to lean toward OE fluids for the M3s (like the 36 dollar/liter oil for the limited slip), but I'm open to suggestions for other brands or a dealer that's willing to part with some of this stuff.

BMW MTF-LT2 is for the transmission, not the diff.

Maybe I misread, I see some mention of SMG so I thought tranny.

Diff. fluid would be: SAF-XJ + FM Booster OEM part # 83 22 2 282 583

AFAIK, the diff fluid comes as a kit of 3 1L bottles.

I was indeed asking about trans oil. I picked up the stuff for the diff- 36 bucks for a 1/2 liter! Forgot the capacity was 1.3L, so I'll be back for the third bottle in the series, and I'll try to pick up the trans oil at the same time.
