Auberlen leaves Sigalsport and Plumb moves in
Bill Auberlen, who co-drove the Sigalsport BMW-Riley Daytona Prototype in the Grand-Am Rolex series in 2007, will contest the series in a Porsche-Crawford in 2008. His move to Alex Job’s Ruby Tuesday Championship Racing Team represents a return to his pre-BMW roots. Auberlen shared the Sebring GT-2 winning Alex Job 911 in 1995, the season before he moved to PTG to begin his long relationship with BMW. He will still be a BMW racer in ’08; he is to return to Turner Motorsport in a Koni Challenge Grand Sport M3.
