New track in NJ, same owners as VIR

Some of you may know about this already, but I just found out. For us in the DC area this will be closer than VIR and will offer a 4.1mi road course. It looks like actually two tracks. Anyone know if they are already planning events here?

NJ and DelValley are looking into it.

A joint NJ Del Valley event is planned for Aug 2008 according to an email from Jeff Corson of Del Valley. Their Nov membership meeting will feature an intro by Joe Volpe, NJMP Director of Motorsports Activities.

VIR is approx 50 miles further from my house in Clifton, VA than the new NJ track. Chances are most Fridays I still get to VIR quicker heading down Rt 29 than I will heading up I95 to NJ.

Also remember this taking place NJ were getting a permit means knowing the right people etc.

Wonder if they have any union no work or no work/no show jobs up there?

Have they found any bodies?

Any new track is a good thing.
